Kin Botanical Shop began as a project and an exploration aimed at creating thoughtful and effective products from the plant life found on our property and throughout the Southwest. About 10 years ago, after experiencing a few allergic reactions to the store bought skincare items that are widely available, we began making our own homemade products to fill that gap. We realized we could make a whole range of effective products with simple and clean ingredients and began by making gifts for friends and family in search of the same thing.  A few years later Kin expanded to providing a few local businesses products for their customers and staff and slowly transitioned to where we are now: a very small, family-owned business. Kin Botanical Shop operates a small studio and garden on a large property with a diverse selection of plant life that provides us with the majority of the plants that we use. When we are unable to wild harvest or grow what we need on-site, we source our ingredients from other small businesses we trust that do things the same way we do.  The drying process for our homegrown flowers and herbs yields a much more potent product in comparison to traditionally dried plants which means we don't have to focus as much on the quantity of our plants but can dedicate more of our time to improving to their quality. Our products never include added fragrance (including essential oil) and are all made by hand in small batches.  We are so appreciative of each and every customer and vendor and hope you all love the products as much as we do.
